Academic Coaching Testimonies
"Hello Miss Reichmuth,
How have you been?  Well, I have been doing great. I really miss having you at XYZ Middle School.
I always tell some of my seventh grade friends how you have been a great help in Language Arts.
I just wanted to tell you a funny story. I have learned a lot about writing in your class and I think that
I have become advanced in this class. Well, I have a friend that lives in my house with me. My family
an I met her through my aunt. She is almost twenty-one and she is attending a school for Doctor's
assistant. She was doing an essay about cancer in the uterus. I had read the essay that she wrote and,
boy, let me tell you. She made so many mistakes that I have read. I graded her essay or I edited her
essay and she re-wrote it. She told me a week later that she got the highest grade in the class. She
had received an A++ on her essay. I think that is a funny story for me because I basically helped her
receive the grade. Can you believe it? An A++. I have never heard of a grade possible! I just wanted to
tell you that to show how you have helped me over my seventh grade year. I really miss you Miss R!
You are a great teacher! It is eleven o'clock and I have to go to bed, Hope to talk to you soon Miss R!
                                            Sincerely,
                                                      Kahealani Acosta"

"My son, a straight A student through grade school, was failing out of junior high.  His athletic
career was in jeopardy because he did not have a 2.0 grade point average and if athletics
were taken from him, he would have nothing build his self-esteem.  My husband and I were
afraid that our son was headed down a very scary road to academic failure.  Cristin was
recommended to us by a friend with a daughter in a similar situation and we are so
grateful that she was introduced into our lives.  After our son's very first meeting with Cristin,
he seemed motivated to turn his grades around and within a month, he did it.  He was
cleared from his academic probation and is now playing football again.  Thank you so
much for showing our son what life could be!!!"

"We met Cristin in the spring semester of our daughter's 7th grade year and if it wasn't for the guidance and love Cristin bestowed upon her, she
would be years behind.  Our daughter is now back on track academically and loves e-mailing the mentors her Academic Coach (Cristin)
introduced her to.  Cristin and her partners have inspired our daughter to actually plan her life past high school and she's doing just that!"

"Hey Cristin!  Wow!  Where do I start?  I really thought that nobody cared or could ever understand me but I had so much fun with you!
Unbelievable amount of fun! I learned so much in one session!  Personally, I think I learned a lot of great things from you.  I could really talk to you
and get great replies back and you really helped me out as a person and I thank you so much for that! I can't wait until I see you again.  I think I'm
going to get in shape now....I want to start jogging every night and swim every day.  I hope I can do it and maybe in a year, I'll be a whole different
me.  That would be great!  Watch out world, HERE I COME!!! GRRRR!!!  Thank you for being there for me.
