VELO SAFE ORIGINAL & ISP CASE PACKING INSTRUCTIONS from Tri All 3 Website:
“Left and Right” refer to rider’s orientation when sitting on the bike.
  1. Remove front and rear wheel.
  2. Secure front fork to fork mount positioned at the front of the case. Bottom bracket of bike will sit on a foam pad in the center of the case.
  3. Place the left pedal in the 9:00 position.
  4. Secure each chain stay with the Velcro straps that are positioned to the rear of the foam pad and pull down securely.
  5. Loosen the stem bolt and remove the stem and handle bars as one unit. For most bikes, it is not necessary to disconnect cable runs or brake  hoods.
Rest the stem on the top tube with the bars pointing down on the left side.
  6. Suggested: Use round foam packing material as padding to protect against scratches. You can pick it up for free at most bike stores or buy some at a
hardware supply store. They are used to keep pipes from freezing in the winter.
  7. Place the front and rear wheels on opposite sides of the frame and lean them against the top tube, then secure them with the Velcro straps.
  8. Lower saddle or remove if necessary and store at bottom of case.
  9. Place the top of the case on the bottom. The front of the top has a metal footmen’s loop to attach pull strap.
  10. Secure all latches and outer straps.
  11. The airport Gorillas and TSA personnel are so hard on bike cases, make sure you attach the Velcro straps over the latches.

TRAVEL ADVISORY:
  1. When traveling with an airline, we highly suggest that you closely examine your case for any damage incurred during transit. This MUST BE DONE
    BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE AIRPORT!
  2. If you find any damage, file a claim with the airline at that EXACT time, otherwise they won’t accept the claim. Yeah, yeah, yeah…you are exhausted and
just want to get to your hotel, but look people, you will regret.
  3. TRI ALL 3 SPORTS make the toughest, most durable bike travel cases available on the market today. Remarkably, the airline gorillas see this as a
challenge and will do their best to spike your case with a fork-lift, drop it from a fuselage, place it beneath 1000 lb crates, drag behind baggage carts, etc.
  4. The box is NOT a guarantee, however, in all of my years of traveling as an elite triathlete and El Capitan of 2 World’s Teams, I’ve never had a problem
    with my bike.
