Triathlon Camp for Adults and Kids
Adults and Kids will be training separately for biking and running.

Adults train on Saturday, and Kids will be training on Sunday.  Swimming can cross over on both
days. This is a condensed-format training weekend for adults and kids of the Olympic and Sprint
triathlons. This training weekend will include the important and need-to-know basics of what will be
happening at the race and is excellent and invaluable race prep for ALL swimming events. It will be
a fantastic training weekend as we will offer an appropriate balance of training, “class work” and Q&A
for all disciplines. Topics will include swimming, swim-bike transition, biking, bike-run transition,
running. Private lessons will be available before and after the group training. Participants are
encouraged to stay the night before as our days start early!

Cost: Per day: $100 for club members ($120 for non-club affiliates), $90 per athlete if 2 or more
participants from one family;  Swim & T1 only: $60; Bike & T2 only: $60.

  • Bike Helmet (Mandatory)
  • Cycling Apparel

  • Running shoes
  • Running cap or visor
  • Bag Lunch
  • Sunglasses

the Beach Productions triathlons. These training weekends will include the important and need-to-
know basics of what will be happening at the races and are excellent and invaluable race preps for
ALL ocean swimming events. They will all be fantastic training weekends BAMS offers an efficient
balance of training, “class work,” and Q&A for all disciplines. Topics will include swimming, swim-
bike transition, biking, bike-run transition, running. Private lessons will be available before and after
the event as well.  Please note, there will be a $5 parking fee upon arrival.

The BAMS swim clinics are for beginning to advanced intermediate swimmers. Believe
us…EVERYONE learns a ton out of these clinics and no one is ever left behind.  Clinics start at 12:
45 with registration and lectures start at 1PM and last until 4PM.  To register, please click on the

Mission
We want to further your mission of teaching your child how to live a happy and fulfilled life through
exercise and sport.   There is no set schedule for achievement.  We want your child to enjoy learning
and to have fun in a comfortable learning environment.

Camp Goals
·        Provide an overview of triathlon
·        Establish a strong foundation for basic swimming, cycling and running techniques
·        Educate participants on bike safety and maintenance
·        Educate participants on proper nutrition when training for MultiSport events
·        Provide an overview on the basics of triathlon transitions
·        Create love for health and fitness
·        Prepare our athletes to compete in the Hammerhead Kids Triathlons!
·        Ready serious triathletes for a possible invite to the Hammerhead Triathlon RacingTeam.

Rough Schedule
9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The camp will culminate with a mini-triathlon race!
9-9:30 AM: Review of the day's agenda, warm up and stretching
9:30-10:45 AM: Bike skills and training
10:45-11:15 AM: Nutrition break
11:15-12:00 PM: Education and technique development
12:00-1:00 PM: Aerobic and endurance games or projects
1:00-2:00 PM: Swim fundamentals, training, and games

Age Groups & Distances for the Mini-Race!
Kids- Ages 7-10. Swim 100 yards; bike 3 miles and run 1/2 mile
Juniors - Ages 11-14. Swim 200 yards, bike 6 miles and run 1 mile
Seniors - Ages 15-17. Swim 500 yards, bike 12 miles and run 2 miles

Cost/Refunds/Registration
The cost per camp will be $220 if registered before April 31, 2005 - $240 thereafter.  There are no
refunds.  Athletes may use the fee as credit to any of our coaching services.  All athletes must have
