Our Coaches
Helping you reach your personal fitness goals is more than just our part-time hobby; it’s our livelihood and full time commitment to you. Many young or new
trainers in the field mistakenly believe that knowing how to work out means knowing how to effectively train others. Nothing could be further from the
truth. To

Benefits of Hiring a Coach
Most individuals do not hesitate to seek out expert advice from a tax advisor, accountant, lawyer, or physician, but when it comes to their training, they choose to do it
alone.  After coaching hundreds of individuals, both recreational and competitive, Hammerhead can clearly demonstrate that working with a coach enables you to:
  • Achieve a greater level of physical fitness and mental health than you would on your own.
  • Reduce your risk of injuries.
  • Become a more knowledgeable and insightful individual.
  • Remain accountable to your fitness and mental health goals by working with someone who is monitoring your performance.

The Hammerhead coaching relationship takes place uses all methods of communication. While the logistics of the relationship are such that the coach is not present
during the actual implementation of the workouts, the Hammerhead coach still plays an important role in:
  • Monitoring workouts
  • Providing feedback
  • Helping individuals enhance and maintain their training motivation
  • Helping their athletes train with a purpose
  • Create and maintain a healthy balance throughout their life and teach tools that one can use for a lifetime
  • Provide an outside objective opinion

Coaches Vs. Personal Trainers
How does a Coach differ from a Personal Trainer?  Many people confuse coaching with personal training or use the terms interchangeably. While both professionals
provide valuable services, there are important distinctions between the two.

Personal Statement
"My gifts are that I can understand people and their desires quickly and I have the ability to relate my knowledge into terms people
can understand.  Regardless of age or status, I can help you get from point A to point B in a proactive, meaningful, and sensible
way.  I usually see where people are headed long before they do. It's a wonderful asset as a coach (though it can be annoying to
family members).

I am a strong and honest coach who will bring you face to face with your reality. When you see what is true, whether it be you are a
challenged swimmer, unsuccessful in relationships, or sabotaging your future due to lack of ambition, it can be painful, but as a
coach and friend, I will be there to help you overcome your challenges and become a better you.  It's all inside you.  Make it
happen."

Eric Reichmuth, B.S., Collegiate Swimmer/Triathlete
Brother of Body and Mind Solution's Founder, Cristin, Coach Eric began swimming at the ripe old age of 3 months.  Around
age 10, he found the focus and independence necessary to become a competitive swimmer spoke volumes to him.  Within
months he posted qualifying times for the fast races on the West Coast.  His talent in freestyle led him to anchor several high
school and collegiate team championships.  In 2003, he was given a broken and much-too-large Cervelo and competed in his
first triathlon.  He placed in the top 10 overall and placed 2nd in his age group.  In 2004, he chose to focus on the bike
portion of the triathlon and ended up in Maine after riding 4,500+ miles from Washington State.  Eric's heart and ability for
patience are huge which makes him a great target of appeal for children.

Specialties Include
  • Open water swimming
  • Freestyle technique
