Cristin Reichmuth has made a career of researching, understanding, and utilizing differentiated instruction as part of the foundation for teaching and coaching. Her work in the field of Project Based Learning, followed by curriculum development and teacher training in the field of special needs brought her to one steadfast understanding: differentiation is paramount to student success. Cristin's academic background includes an M.A. in Educational Counseling, M.A. in World History, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, a “Highly Qualified Teacher” credential in English for at-risk students, a single subject credential in Social Science, and a Pupil Personnel Services credential for school counseling. Cristin is also a member of the Stanford, CTA, and National Resource Board Center's, Instructional Leadership Corp and specializes in Project Based Learning. Cristin has also held the following athletic certifications: USA Cycling Expert Coach, USA Swimming Coach (Level II), USA Track & Field coach, USA Triathlon Coach (Level I) and USA Triathlon Official (Level III). Cristin was coached by Olympic Gold Medalist, Pablo Morales and Olympic Swimming Coaches, Skip Kinney and Richard Quick of Stanford University and was mentored by the late and great San Francisco 49er's coach, Bill Walsh. She also co-founded Santa Cruz Triathlon Association, was the Director of San Francisco Triathlon Club's swim program, and raced as an elite triathlete with backing from companies such as Specialized Bikes, PowerBar, Gold’s Gym, and Spokesman Bicycles in Santa Cruz. Cristin has qualified to represent the USA in five World Championship races and was the captain of two, was a collegiate athlete, and is a racecourse record holder. In addition to being published in Runner’s World magazine and Livestrong.com, Cristin has coached children to adults, beginners to National qualifiers, since 1986 and thrives from helping and watching her students and athletes succeed.
